Genting Highlands, Pahang, Malaysia is one of the first few hill resort in Malaysia. Located on the Titiwangsa Range, the resort is at least 1,700m above ground. As a result, it is always about 18 degrees at Genting Highlands. Tourists and locals love to visit this place to enjoy the cooling weather!

The world’s first Twentieth Century Fox Theme Park will be open end 2016 to early 2017. Despite that, there are other attractions available, such as the Indoor Theme Park and Snow World. The Indoor Theme Park offers numerous non-thrilling, children friendly rides around the hotels. Do note that some of the rides are also closed for development works. The new Snow World features a winter downtown and World Heritage concept. It offers a breathtaking view of the entire surrounding, making it a perfect place for photo opportunities. Other attractions are also available such as a bowling alley, Ripley’s Believe It or Not and the Haunted Adventures. Adults get to try their luck at Malaysia’s only casino. Numerous shows and performances are available to keep you entertained.

Farms – Mushroom, Vegetables, Strawberry and Bee Farm

There are also different farms on the range, where farmers grow different vegetables and fruits. Mushrooms such as the abalone mushroom, the oyster mushroom, lingzhi are grown on the mushroom farm while vegetables such as bean sprouts, cucumbers are grown through hydroponic cultivation. The clean air and fertile soil provide the perfect location, enriching the crops with wholesome goodness. The Happy Bee Farm aims to educate visitors on honey bees and their products. A visit to the farm will leave you with new knowledge and also many honey products such as honeycomb, propolis and royal jelly.

Chin Swee Caves Temple

Built on 28 acres of forested land, the Chin Swee Caves Temple is about 5 to 10 minutes drive down from the Resort. The temple houses the statue of Reverend Master Chin Swee for his supernatural abilities to summon rain and drive away evil spirits. Worshippers can also pray to Buddha and Kuan Yin. There is a nine-storey pagoda, and it takes 285 steps to reach the top. A splendid view of the area rewards those who climbed the steps.
