Teluk Sengat Crocodile Farm, Kota Tinggi, Johor is west Malaysia’s largest crocodile farm with more than a thousand crocodiles bred on the farm. It is located in the Kota Tinggi District in Johor (Lots 1289 & 1290, Jalan Sembilan, Kampung Belading, Teluk Sengat, 81940 Kota Tinggi, Johor, Malaysia). The farm is open from 9 am to 6 pm daily and entrance fees cost RM 8.00 for each adult and RM 4.00 for each child.
The farm is established in 1979 and has been family run. The Ng family has more than 35 years of experience breeding the fierce and deadly reptiles. The crocodiles are kept in well-secured small enclosures and you do not have to worry about safety. The walking path is also well sheltered from sun and rain. The crocodiles get bigger and older as you walk deeper into the Teluk Sengat Crocodile Farm. The farm workers will bring you on a guided trip around the farm where they share with you little-known facts about these deathly reptiles.
The crocodiles typically hardly move and most of them are enjoying their time sunbathing. However when it comes to feeding time, get ready to click your cameras away as the crocodiles turn into ferocious beasts. For the strong hearted, you can experience a one to one time with the babies crocodile on the farm. You are allowed to hold them and touch them under the supervising of the farm keeper. You will be amazed at how small these young crocodiles are and how big they can grow. The farm also features a crocodile that is more than 155 years old.
